The addition of the Legacy 600 enhances the Australian operator’s capabilities by filling a niche between its smaller jets and larger, long-range aircraft. Its range and capacity make it ideal for medium- to long-haul flights.
Australian operator Global Jet International has begun managing and operating an Embraer Legacy 600 for a private client. The aircraft will be available for ad hoc charter and will be managed by Global Jet’s experienced sales team.
“The Legacy 600 boasts several standout features,” states MD Matt Frick. “It has a spacious cabin, with three separate cabin zones, and it provides ample space for work, relaxation and dining. It also has impressive range and speed, and is capable of flying up to 3,740 miles at a cruising speed of 455kts, making it perfect for long-haul flights. It also boasts luxurious amenities, such as a fully equipped galley, in-flight accessible baggage compartment and the largest lavatory in its class to enhance passenger comfort.”
The addition of the Legacy 600 enhances the firm’s operational capabilities by filling a niche between its smaller jets and larger, long-range aircraft. Its range and capacity make it ideal for medium- to long-haul flights, complementing the existing fleet, which includes the Praetor 500, Challenger 604s, G650ER and Hawker 850XP. This diversity allows GJI to offer tailored solutions to meet the varied needs of clientele, from short regional hops to transcontinental journeys.
Frick goes on: “The Legacy 600 is versatile and well suited for a variety of missions, including business travel, providing a comfortable and efficient environment for executives travelling between major business hubs; leisure trips, offering luxury and convenience for families and groups on vacation; and special events. It is ideal for transporting VIPs to events, ensuring they arrive in style and comfort.”
Frick says this year has been exceptionally positive for Global Jet International. It has seen a steady increase in demand for charter services, reflecting the resilience and growth of the business aviation market. Its fleet expansion, including the addition of the Legacy 600, has positioned it well to meet this rising demand and continue delivering top-tier service to clients.
He concludes: “Looking ahead, we aim to further enhance our fleet and expand our service offerings. Our focus will be on maintaining high standards of safety, comfort and efficiency while exploring new opportunities in emerging markets. We are optimistic about the future and committed to driving innovation and excellence in the business aviation industry.”
