This website, www.charterbroker.aero, is operated by Stansted News Limited (“SNL”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England. SNL is the data controller for the personal data processed through this site. SNL also operates www.businessairnews.com and www.airframer.com; your account and personal data may be shared across these sites as described below.

We may collect the following categories of personal data:
Account information: name, job title, email address, telephone number, company name and password, provided when you register or when your account is created by an administrator.
Directory listing data: business contact details, company descriptions, fleet information, certifications and other professional information published in operator and broker listings. This is business-to-business data provided by or on behalf of the listed organisation.
Usage data: pages visited, search queries, IP address, browser type, referring URL, date and time of access. This is collected automatically when you use the site.
Subscription and payment data: subscription type, start and expiry dates. Payment transactions are handled by Business Air News and we do not store card details on this site.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:
Providing the service: to operate your account, authenticate your login, display your directory listing and deliver the features of the site. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or legitimate interests in providing the service you have requested.
Site improvement: to analyse how the site is used, identify errors and improve functionality. Legal basis: legitimate interests in maintaining and improving our services.
Communications: to send you service-related messages such as password resets, subscription reminders and important changes to the site or these terms. Legal basis: performance of a contract or legitimate interests. We may also send you editorial newsletters and marketing communications about our publications where you have consented or where we have a legitimate interest to do so. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Advertising and analytics: to measure the effectiveness of advertising on the site and to provide aggregated, anonymised usage reports to advertisers. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Across our sites: your account is shared with www.businessairnews.com and www.airframer.com. A single login works across all three sites. When you navigate between sites, a secure one-time token may be used to transfer your authenticated session.
Directory listings: operator and broker listings are published on the site and are visible to other users in accordance with the access tier of the viewer.
Service providers: we may share data with third-party providers who assist us in operating the site, such as email delivery services. These providers process data only on our instructions and are bound by appropriate contractual obligations.
Legal requirements: we may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, court order or governmental authority.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party for their marketing purposes.
The site uses the following cookies:
A persistent cookie (1 year) that stores your account identifier so you do not need to log in on every visit. This is set when you log in and cleared when you log out. It is marked HttpOnly and cannot be read by client-side scripts.
Session cookie — a session cookie set by the web server to maintain your authenticated session as you navigate between pages. This is deleted when you close your browser or when your session times out.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.

Account data: retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you ask us to delete your account, we will do so within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
Usage logs: IP addresses and page visit records are retained for up to 12 months for security and analytical purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Directory listings: business contact information in listings is retained for as long as the listing is active. Former listings may be retained in archived form for editorial and historical reference.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or alteration. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel who need it to perform their duties.
This site is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
