New Flight Charters starts year with above average demand
Wyoming-based New Flight Charters has experienced a 17.5 per cent year-on-year increase in charter demand for the first quarter of 2018, more than double the industry growth trend for that period. The company reports a strong move to larger aircraft with a 41 per cent climb in midsize, super-midsize and heavy jet charters, while light jet and turboprop charters fell 16 per cent and 23 per cent respectively. It attributes the increase to the greater availability of its floating fleet and the pricing advantage of no repositioning costs.
