Latitudes and Longitudes benefit from Gogo Galileo HDX

October 18, 2026

Textron Aviation has gained FAA certification of Gogo Galileo HDX for the Citation Longitude and Latitude, and will fit the system free of charge on factory-new aircraft delivered from 2028.

Citation customers seek reliable wi-fi solutions.

Textron Aviation has received FAA certification of Gogo Galileo HDX for the Cessna Citation Longitude and Latitude, giving customers access to a factory-supported global LEO connectivity solution.

As part of the offering, customers who choose Gogo Galileo HDX will benefit from a preferred worldwide service rate guaranteed for three years and factory-new aircraft delivered beginning in 2028 will be eligible for installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX system powered by Eutelsat's OneWeb LEO network at no charge, making Textron the first OEM to provide such an option for customers.

“In order to stay productive wherever they fly, our customers rely on connectivity, and they're looking for solutions that perform reliably around the world,” shares Chris Hearne, senior vice president, engineering and programmes. “Achieving FAA certification of Gogo Galileo HDX on the Citation Longitude and Citation Latitude is the result of a strong effort across our teams and gives customers another factory-supported connectivity option to keep them connected wherever their missions take them.”

Gogo Galileo HDX features a fuselage-mounted antenna, designed to make the system easier to install and operate than other satellite connectivity systems currently available. This low latency solution ensures a seamless, high-speed connection that allows passengers to be online and productive throughout their flight, regardless of their location around the world.

“We're proud of our partnership with Textron Aviation and thrilled that new Citation owners will be able to benefit from our best-in-class connectivity allowing them to continue their online lives in the sky,” says Christopher Moore, chief executive officer, Gogo. “Gogo customers not only get high-performance connectivity but leading cybersecurity and data privacy protections as well as 24/7/365 customer support, which includes getting a technician on the tarmac within 24 hours, if needed.”

By expanding connectivity options for Citation Longitude and Citation Latitude customers the company continues to help passengers stay connected and productive wherever their missions take them.
