G280 gains Galileo HDX connectivity

July 24, 2026

The first Gogo Galileo HDX installation on a Gulfstream G280 expands Pro Star Aviation's low-Earth orbit connectivity capability while delivering takeoff-to-touchdown satellite internet.

For G280 operators, the upgrade supports a cabin experience closer to office-level connectivity.

Pro Star Aviation has completed its first installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX connectivity system on a Gulfstream G280, expanding the US Part 145 provider's experience delivering low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity across business aviation platforms.

The upgrade supports a cabin experience closer to office-level connectivity, particularly on longer-range missions, while delivering connectivity from take off to touchdown through the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO satellite network. The system supports video conferencing, streaming and real-time communications throughout every phase of flight, including over oceans and remote regions.

The installation is another step in Pro Star's investment in advanced inflight connectivity solutions and expands its portfolio of Gogo Galileo installations.

Jeff Shaw, director of sales and marketing at Pro Star Aviation, says: “With demand for next-generation connectivity consistently rising, we're focused on delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

“Completing our first Galileo installation on the Gulfstream G280 reflects our continued investment in increasing our installation capabilities and providing operators with reliable, high-performance connectivity across a broader range of aircraft.”

Backed by in-house engineering, certification and installation experience, Pro Star Aviation provides connectivity upgrades alongside avionics upgrades and special mission aircraft modifications.
