Wyvern welcomes Mitchell as vp of quality

ISO certification renewals and customer satisfaction will be a focus as Wyvern strengthens its quality leadership team.

Wyvern has appointed Devon Mitchell as its new vice president of quality. In this role, Mitchell will oversee renewal certifications for ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 and will ensure customer satisfaction across Wyvern’s products and services.

Mitchell brings more than three decades of multi-sector experience spanning healthcare, defence, automotive and the military. He has a track record as a strategic leader focused on stakeholder partnerships, performance enhancement and maintaining quality standards in high-stakes environments.

Prior to joining Wyvern, Mitchell served as an IT vendor manager and global sourcing consultant at Humana Inc., where he managed vendor portfolios and led enterprise sourcing strategies. His career also includes leadership roles at Montaplast of North America and Raytheon Technologies, alongside earlier quality control and project management experience with Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Merck, as well as service in the United States Air Force.

Throughout his career, Mitchell has been recognised for operational excellence, contributing to projects awarded the Shingo Prize and receiving awards for accountability, respect and trust. He holds a Master of Science in Conflict Management from Sullivan University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University.
