UpStar starts up 2026 with a Phenom 300E

May 8, 2026

Besides its latest addition, UpStar's fleet also includes a range of aircraft, namely the Phenom 100, with two currently flying and another on the way, King Air 350, G150, Citation XLS+, Learjet 40 and 75, and G450.

Victor Rodrigues believes the Phenom occupies an important niche.

Brazilian operator UpStar Aviation has brought in an Embraer Phenom 300E for charter. “We manage the aircraft for the owner who allowed us to charter it when he's not using it,” explains director Victor Rodrigues. “The Phenom 300 is one of the best selling charter aircraft in Brazil; the high demand generated by this specific model makes it different from any other aircraft. Plus, at this moment, our Phenom 300E is the newest 300E available for charter in Brazil: it was delivered last year, brand new.”

UpStar's fleet includes a range of other aircraft, namely the Phenom 100, with two currently flying and another one being added to the fleet, King Air 350, G150, Citation XLS+, Learjet 40 and 75, and G450. The Phenom 300E comes to be part of a fleet that already had many options, but the P300E sells itself, according to Rodrigues: the combination of range, speed, performance and the fact that is a Brazilian aircraft makes clients proud to be flying in an Phenom 300E.

Rodrigues continues: “The range of the 300E allows us to fly anywhere in Brazil from our base in Sao Paulo. São Paulo to Rio, São Paulo to Porto Alegre are some hot routes. The year started strongly: we are flying constantly, our facility in Campinas (SDAM) is supporting aircraft that need to enplane or disembark clients from other cities and other operators. On the aircraft sales we started the year selling a King Air 350 in the first days of the year and we have other deals closed recently, including an Embraer Phenom 100, a Gulfstream G280 and a few other under contract. It's a great year for us.”

This is the presidential election year in Brazil, and many companies may see it as a challenging year, but UpStar views it as an opportunity to expand. Its charter team has grown since last year, and Rodrigues expects to perform even better this calendar year.
