Airmedic expands care capability with dedicated Learjet 45 delivery

March 29, 2026

The Learjet 45 will support Airmedic’s operations across North America and on international repatriation missions, enabling more advanced in-flight intervention and improving patient stability throughout transport.

Integrated oxygen, power and mounting systems provide a flexible and controlled environment for onboard treatment.

Airmedic has taken delivery of a dedicated air medical Learjet 45 completed by Fargo Jet Center, strengthening its operational capability in patient repatriation and critical care transport. The aircraft was formally accepted following final inspections at Fargo Jet Center’s facility at Hector International airport in Fargo, North Dakota, with an Airmedic delegation visiting in late January.

The completion reflects a focus on aligning aircraft capability with real-world medical requirements. The cabin has been configured to support clinical workflows, equipment flexibility and onboard reliability across a wide range of mission profiles.

Louis-Philippe Loiselle Fortier, vice president strategic initiatives and business development at Airmedic, says: “Partnering with Fargo Jet Center allowed us to transform real-world operational needs, from patients and medical crews to client expectations, into a truly one-of-a-kind aircraft. With its expertise we were able to create a highly specialised and unique environment that enhances patient care, empowers our medical teams and instils absolute trust in our clients when it matters most.”

The aircraft includes a satcom and flight-following system, integrated medical sidewalls with oxygen, air, vacuum and power outlets, custom cabinetry and mounting systems, as well as a dedicated medical power system. Additional features such as sanitation-focused materials, lighting upgrades and flexible storage solutions support both patient care and crew efficiency.

Mike Clancy, VP of technical services at Fargo Jet Center, says: “It is a privilege to be part of Airmedic’s commitment to advancing air medical transport. When lives depend on performance and reliability, every detail counts. We’re proud to deliver an aircraft designed to be mission-ready from the start.”
