The Canadian air medical provider has achieved international EURAMI accreditation, recognising safety and quality across its fixed-wing ambulance services.
Airmedic has secured EURAMI accreditation for its fixed-wing air ambulance operations, recognising the company’s adherence to internationally recognised standards for safety, patient care and operational performance.
Founded in 1992, the European Aero-Medical Institute is regarded as a global authority on air medical transport. Its accreditation is based on criteria covering crew training, aircraft maintenance, medical oversight and clinical excellence.
“This achievement reflects the collaboration, discipline and high level of professionalism that define Airmedic,” says Heather Petrie, director of quality, safety and project management at Airmedic.
The recognition also supports Airmedic’s international growth strategy. The company’s fleet includes two Bombardier Learjet 45XRs and six Pilatus PC-12 NG air ambulances, and the accreditation enhances its standing with insurers and healthcare institutions seeking reliable partners.
