Air Charter Scotland, a UK on demand air charter operator, is expanding into scheduled air service operations in the new year. The Glasgow-headquartered company has signed a contract with The Highland Council to commence the PSO (Public Service Obligation) route from Wick-Aberdeen-Wick, effective 12 January 2026. The route has been paused since the collapse of Eastern Airways in October.
Air Charter Scotland will add a BAe Jetstream 32 sourced from and operated by Netherlands airline, AIS Airlines on a wet-lease (aircraft and crew) basis initially, before adding the type to its own AOC in the next few months.

Running operational bases in London and Malta, Air Charter Scotland is Scotland's second oldest airline operator. It commenced operations with Cessna 310 and Beech King Air 200 aircraft before expanding into executive jet operations back in 2006. Air Charter Scotland has two fully worldwide AOCs following the creation of its Maltese entity, Air Charter Scotland Europe, in August 2020.
Air Charter Scotland operates a managed fleet of Bombardier, Cessna and Embraer executive jets, which are offered for third party charter.
