The Luxembourg approval represents a strategic advantage. It provides access to another respected European aviation jurisdiction, reinforces operational credibility and allows Sparfell to integrate more managed aircraft.
Sparfell has obtained its fourth AOC, issued by the Luxembourg Civil Aviation Authority. This new approval complements the company’s existing AOCs in Malta, Austria and San Marino, and gives Sparfell the ability to offer clients a wider range of solutions.
The Luxembourg approval represents a strategic advantage. It provides access to another highly respected European aviation jurisdiction, reinforces operational credibility and allows Sparfell to integrate more aircraft under management within the EU framework.
For aircraft owners and charter clients, this means more tailored solutions, greater choice in registration and operations, seamless compliance within the EU and the assurance of working with an operator established in several key jurisdictions.
“This success is the result of the dedication of our teams, who have worked tirelessly to make this project a reality,” says Sparfell’s chief aviation officer Vincent Cathelain. “It demonstrates once again our ability to turn strategic goals into operational reality for the benefit of our clients.”
Alongside this approval, Sparfell has established its offices at Luxembourg airport, with 170sqm of newly fitted premises within the airport centre. The local team is already operational and ready to support clients from this new base.
In parallel, Sparfell is proud to welcome its first aircraft under the newly obtained Luxembourg AOC: a factory-new 2025 Gulfstream G500, configured with 14 seats and available for charter from Paris-Le Bourget airport. With a maximum range of 5,300nm and a high-speed cruise up to Mach 0.90, the G500 combines performance with passenger comfort. Its quiet and bright cabin, large panoramic windows, high-speed connectivity and flexible seating make it ideal for both business and leisure travel.
“Our charter fleet continues to grow with the arrival of this brand-new Gulfstream G500, the third G500 now available for charter at Sparfell and the second factory-new aircraft received in 2025. This addition reinforces our ability to provide our clients with one of the most modern charter offerings in Europe,” states Mejdi Habib, sales and concierge director.
With more than 30 aircraft and five helicopters under management, Sparfell continues its rapid development. The Luxembourg certificate, together with the arrival of the new G500, further reinforces the company’s position as a trusted player in European business aviation, capable of delivering choice and excellence in an increasingly competitive environment.
