Six air operators have signed on as beta customers for SurfOS, Surf Air Mobility’s AI-powered aviation software platform designed to enhance efficiency, flight distribution and pricing.
Surf Air Mobility has partnered with six air operators to launch SurfOS, an AI-driven software platform for advanced air mobility. SurfOS, powered by Palantir Technologies, aims to increase efficiency, reduce costs and provide customised tools for aircraft operators, brokers and owners.
Beta customers will gain access to tools for flight distribution, pricing and customer management. Direct2 Air CEO Toby Woods, one of the launch customers, says: “SurfOS is building an end-to-end solution that will allow us to seamlessly sell our charter flights directly to consumers and integrates the operational complexities we face daily with an intuitive interface that our entire team, from dispatchers to pilots, has embraced.”
Surf Air Mobility co-founder and board member Sudhin Shahani adds: “We believe that SurfOS will be the category-defining technology platform for the advanced air mobility industry. We are creating an operating system that is addressing the needs of aircraft operators, brokers and owners, all of whom have a real need for modern aviation software enhanced with AI and big data.”
Surf Air Mobility continues to develop SurfOS, introducing AI-based charter broker tools, real-time aircraft availability tracking, pilot management applications and operational dashboards. The company is also launching Surf Air Technologies to market SurfOS to regional air operators and is considering external investment to support its expansion.
