Latitude 33 Aviation expands Van Nuys charter capacity with second Bombardier Challenger aircraft

January 27, 2026:

Latitude 33 Aviation is beginning 2026 with expanded super midsize charter capacity at Van Nuys Airport (VNY), offering Los Angeles-area travellers access to two Bombardier Challenger aircraft. With two coast-to-coast capable jets based in VNY, clients gain more availability, scheduling flexibility and added redundancy for high-demand travel periods. With the addition of this Challenger, Latitude 33 Aviation now offers a total of five Challenger aircraft on the U.S. West Coast within its charter fleet.

Latitude 33 Aviation's Van Nuys Challenger lineup now includes:

- A 2013 Bombardier Challenger 300 featuring 2021 paint and carpet, Wi-Fi and a double club seating configuration. The aircraft presents like new, inside and out, with a layout designed for productive work time and comfortable rest on longer legs.

- A 2018 Bombardier Challenger 350 with Wi-Fi, a forward club, plus a rear side-facing divan that adds flexibility for small groups, families and clients who want a more relaxed lounge-style setup.

Together, these two aircraft expand Latitude 33 Aviation's ability to support last-minute trips, multi-leg itineraries and repeat routes for entertainment, business and family travel throughout the U.S., Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

The Challenger is widely regarded as one of the strongest aircraft in the super midsize category because it delivers a practical mix of cabin comfort, performance and mission versatility. For charter clients, that translates into clear benefits:

- A cabin built for long flights: Challenger interiors are known for a wide, comfortable cabin feel that works well for coast-tocoast trips. Seating layouts support real conversation, quiet work and the ability to stretch out, without feeling cramped.

- Strong nonstop capability: Both aircraft are well-suited for transcontinental missions, giving Los Angeles clients the option to travel nonstop on many coast-to-coast routes, reducing travel fatigue and eliminating airlinestyle connections.

- Efficient performance with access advantages: Super midsize aircraft like the Challenger often provide excellent airport access and scheduling options, which can be a real advantage in southern California where timing, routing and alternates matter.

- Comfort, quiet, and a refined ride: Bombardier's design focus shows up in a smooth cabin experience that holds up well over longer stages. For clients, that means arriving more rested and ready to go.

- Connectivity in the air: Both Van Nuys Challengers are equipped with Wi-Fi, supporting email, messaging and continuity for teams that need to stay connected.

With two Challengers operating from Van Nuys, Latitude 33 Aviation can better support clients who value consistent service, dependable scheduling options and a premium aircraft experience that is equally suited for executive travel, sports and entertainment missions, and high-touch family itineraries.
