Acropolis Aviation renews Wyvern Wingman certification

August 22, 2025:

Acropolis Aviation has successfully renewed its Wyvern Wingman certification by transitioning to the Flight Leader Program, demonstrating its commitment to continuous improvement through ongoing quarterly coaching by Wyvern. This strategic move highlights the value it places on the programme's proactive approach to safety, performance and accountability. As a result, Acropolis continues to uphold the Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit benchmark in the industry, empowering clients to make informed decisions based on proven best practices.

Acropolis Aviation is a luxury charter operator based at Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom, with a dedicated sales office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since its founding in 2008, the company has specialised in providing bespoke air travel experiences for private, corporate and VVIP clients around the world. The company operates one of the world's most advanced private aircraft, the Airbus ACJ320neo, which was the first of its kind delivered globally.

The Wingman standard establishes the criteria for evaluating an organisation's commitment to safety and operational excellence. The scope of the evaluation includes a thorough review and assessment of the organisation's compliance management system, internal evaluation programme, safety management system, human factors management, safety culture analysis, risk management policies, procedures and practices, as well as emergency response plans and training programmes.

“Acropolis Aviation has once again proven its position as a safety-forward operator by renewing its Wingman certification,” said Andrew Day, senior vice president, operations at Wyvern. “Through the Flight Leader Program, it demonstrates a clear investment in performance enhancement and transparent, data-driven improvement.”
