Talon Air's dedication to safety shines with Wyvern Wingman renewal
June 27, 2025:Talon Air has reaffirmed its commitment to safety and continuous improvement by renewing its Wyvern Wingman certified operator status, this time through the Flight Leader Program. Recognising the value of ongoing coaching and deeper engagement, Talon Air transitioned from traditional audits to quarterly coaching sessions with its Flight Leader coach.
Established in 2001 and headquartered at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, New York, Talon Air offers a full range of services, including on-demand jet charter, aircraft management, maintenance, and sales and acquisitions, operating a diverse fleet of over 30 midsize and larger business jets,
The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

The globally recognised Wyvern Wingman standard provides a safety benchmark that allows customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best practices before purchasing services. The scope of the evaluation includes a review and assessment of the organisation's compliance management system, internal evaluation programme, safety management system, human factors management, safety culture analysis, risk management policies, procedures and practices, emergency response plans and training programmes.
