ATI Jet inc./ Jetvia acquired by Matthew O'Hayer
June 9, 2025:ATI Jet Inc. dba Jetvia, a leading US operator of private jet charter services for nearly four decades and parent company of Jetvia, is excited to announce its acquisition by Matthew O'Hayer, the founder of Vital Farms. Matt has been a lifelong aviator and fell in love with Jetvia after flying with the team. He will step in as CEO.
Jetvia's founder and longtime CEO Lyle Byrum will step into the role of president, focusing on engineering innovation and growth opportunities. Byrum has only recently been awarded the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award by the FAA after 50 years of accomplishments in the aviation space.
“Jetvia has always been about more than aircraft; it's about people and the culture of excellence we've built together,” said Byrum. “Matt's passion for aviation and proven track record of scaling mission-driven businesses make him the ideal partner to take Jetvia to new heights.”
This transition marks a new chapter for Jetvia, which has grown from a small operation to a 23-aircraft fleet of Learjet 60s recognised for an impeccable safety record and exceptional service. In addition, Nick Tyson has been promoted to executive vice president. Tyson, who joined Jetvia in 2019, has been instrumental in streamlining operations and ensuring the company remains a trusted partner to clients around the globe.
