As an FAA STC ODA, PMA and Part 145 organisation specialising in inflight connectivity, avionics and regulatory compliance, AMI/AeroMech developed the supplemental type certificate (STC) for Starlink installations on this aircraft. Their expertise facilitated a streamlined installation process with swift FAA approvals, ensuring an efficient and hassle-free upgrade.

Starlink has made significant inroads in the aviation industry, particularly within commercial airlines. As of September 2024, more than 2,500 commercial aircraft have been equipped with Starlink, while private jet installations remain relatively limited at approximately 80 aircraft.
