Fair Wind Air Charter renews Wyvern Wingman

Stuart, Florida-based private jet charter and management company Fair Wind Air Charter has renewed its Wyvern Wingman certified operator status by maintaining the Wingman standards through the Flight Leader Program with quarterly coaching by Wyvern. The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

“We are thrilled to once again renew our Wyvern Wingman qualification. Fair Wind has participated in the Wingman programme for more than 20 years now and is proud of the relationship with Wyvern. Fair Wind, through the new Flight Leader Program, is now able to progressively validate its processes against the high standard set forth by Wyvern and continuously monitor, evolve and improve its procedures and safety principles,” says Alexander H. Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, a review of the company's operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), an internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.
