Leviate Air Group reaches agreement to acquire majority interest in Chairman Aviation
November 7, 2024:Leviate Air Group, a US leader in business aviation, announced today the acquisition of a majority interest in Texan business jet operator Chairman Aviation, a move set to accelerate Leviate's growth and elevate its service offerings. The move was unveiled by Tom Horton, former CEO of American Airlines and current partner at Global Infrastructure Partners, along with Leviate Air Group's executive leadership team, including CEO Luis Barros, president Randall Mize and managing partner Rob Rosenberg.
This acquisition marks a key step in Leviate's strategy to broaden its market reach and provide an even more comprehensive suite of private aviation solutions. The integration will include the management of Chairman's fleet alongside Leviate's growing fleet of premium aircraft.
As part of the deal, additional aircraft, including a Citation X, Citation X+ and Citation CJ3+ will join the combined fleet. This will further enhance Leviate's ability to offer diverse, high-performance aircraft options that meet the specialised needs of its discerning clientele.
Luis Barros, CEO of Leviate Air Group, emphasised the significance of the acquisition: “We are thrilled to welcome Chairman Aviation into the Leviate family," commented Barros. "Its stellar reputation in private aviation aligns perfectly with our core values of excellence and integrity. The addition of these premium aircraft enhances our combined fleet and allows us to provide even more tailored solutions to our clients whether for business, leisure or specialised travel needs.”
Tom Horton, drawing on his vast experience in commercial aviation, including his time at American Airlines, added, “This combination creates synergies that will unlock significant growth opportunities for both Leviate and Chairman Aviation. Leviate's innovative service model combined with Chairman's outstanding customer service positions both companies for long-term success in the private aviation sector. The expanded fleet will give clients even more options and flexibility, strengthening Leviate's leadership in the market.”
Leviate Air Group has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored, full-service aviation solutions, from aircraft management and sales to on-demand charter services. This acquisition highlights Leviate's ongoing commitment to innovation, superior client service and its continued leadership in the private aviation industry.
