Sun Air Jets renews prestigious IS-BAO Stage III certification, celebrates 15 years of safety excellence

Sun Air Jets, a southern California-based provider of aircraft management and air charter services, is pleased to announce the successful renewal of its IS-BAO Stage III audit certification, extending the company's esteemed safety distinction through 2027. With this milestone, Sun Air Jets celebrates 15 years of IS-BAO certification, a status recently acknowledged at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention in Las Vegas.

As one of only a few private jet operators in California to uphold this rigorous certification, Sun Air Jets distinguishes itself with a commitment to safety and excellence in operations. The IS-BAO Stage III status complements an impressive array of accolades, including ARGUS Platinum Elite, Wyvern Wingman PRO and the Air Charter Safety Foundation's IAS certification, achievements shared by a select group of aviation leaders nationwide.

The IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations), developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), is a voluntary global standard for business aviation safety. The Stage III certification, IS-BAO's highest level, is granted only when safety management is deeply integrated across all company practices, signifying a sustained, positive safety culture. To achieve this, operators must:

- Demonstrate that the IS-BAO standard is fully absorbed and reflected in their culture

- Embrace a "just culture" that encourages all safety and risk issues to be brought forward for resolution

- Maintain a continuous discussion about safety and performance

- Use and share both human-reported and automated safety data
