Fly Wales expands fleet with addition of C525 to UK AOC

February 19, 2024:

UK private air charter operator Fly Wales has announced a significant expansion to its fleet with the addition of a Cessna CitationJet (C525) to its UK AOC. This strategic move marks a pivotal moment for the charter operator as it reinforces its commitment to offering premium charter services.

The CitationJet's addition to Fly Wales' fleet comes as a result of its transition from fellow UK operator Synergy Aviation, which following its acquisition by Avia Solutions Group last year is now known as Ascend Airways. This seamless transition underscores Fly Wales' dedication to maintaining operational excellence.

In addition to the CitationJet, Fly Wales continues to operate two newly refurbished Beechcraft King Air 200 (BE200) aircraft, featuring upgraded interiors and exteriors designed to enhance passenger comfort and style. These aircraft, known for their versatility and reliability, remain integral components of Fly Wales' fleet.

The CitationJet Jet is based at Farnborough Airport, renowned for its world-class facilities and convenient access to London and the southeast of England.

Ryan Williams, fleet captain says "We are thrilled to announce the addition of the CitationJet to our fleet; it's a great entry level aircraft for flights within the UK and Europe. At Fly Wales, we are committed to providing our passengers with the utmost in luxury and comfort. The CitationJet perfectly aligns with our values and allows us to continue delivering exceptional travel experiences."
