HeliFlite granted FAA approval for international expansion in the Bahamas and Caribbean

As of October 2023, HeliFlite, the leading US private, luxury helicopter charter provider, has expanded its operations to include international routes to the Bahamas and Caribbean. HeliFlite's new services to these destinations are a coup for its rapidly growing south Florida client base.

With existing operations in south Florida, HeliFlite will now offer a convenient and luxurious travel experience from all south Florida airfields to Bakers Bay (Marsh Harbor), Nassau, the Albany Resort and Bimini. Clients can have the flexibility to select the date and departure time from their homes or local operation sites, including Miami Beach's Watson Island Seaplane Base (MacArthur Causeway), Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale Airport and Palm Beach International Airport.

Despite the assumed proximity, travel from south Florida to the Bahamas can present challenges.
