MHS Aviation Group adds Citation CJ2+ to charter fleet

July 10, 2023:

Elangeni, an Austrian AOC aircraft management and charter company and part of the MHS Group, has announced that it has added a Munich, Germany based Cessna Citation CJ2+ to it's AOC.

“The CJ2+ is an excellent addition to our fleet, providing performance and economy, without sacrificing luxury,” said Lisa Ferrari, vice president, sales. “This is in perfect alignment with our mission to provide a top-notch private charter experience within the price point of many travellers.”

This fifth generation of the popular CitationJet series is known for its simplicity of design, allowing it to be economical and high-performing. It combines an aerodynamic structure that is inexpensive to produce, handles well and uses some of the most economical engines available. Also popular is the simplicity yet reliability of its flight deck. This contributes to flexibility and economy as it needs only a single pilot.

The CJ2+ can accommodate seven passengers in its luxury cabin. Also, this version of the jet has been redesigned with extra soundproofing for a quieter and more relaxing flight. Three baggage compartments allow for ample storage.

With the addition of the CJ2+, MHS Group, with it's two AOCs under MHS Aviation in Munich and Elangeni in Vienna, increases its fleet to 14 aircraft, including the Gulfstream G550, Global XRS, Falcon 2000LX, Challenger 604, Praetor 600, Phenom 300, CJ2+ and Dornier 328. According Lisa Ferrari three more new aircraft are in the pipeline. One will be a brand new Falcon 2000 LXS, the acquisition of which was announced by MHS during the Paris Air Show last month and which is expected to join MHS' charter fleet at the beginning of 2025.
