Fly Alliance awarded IS-BAO Stage I rating

Fly Alliance, headquartered in Orlando, Florida and specialising in private jet charter, jet card membership, fractional ownership, and aircraft sales and management, is pleased to announce that it has received an IS-BAO Stage I rating from the IS-BAO system. The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operation, or IS-BAO, is a code of practices that serves as the gold standard for business aviation around the world.

IS-BAO is based on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) guidelines, meaning it is a worldwide rather than a national or regional standard. Earning this certificate demonstrates Fly Alliance's commitment to maintaining the internationally recognised standard and to representing the highest level of quality in aviation.

In order to become IS-BAO certified and maintain that certification, an operator must undergo regular audits, typically every two to three years. During the audit process, a lengthy list of aviation operations are subject to deep scrutiny. The audit includes the following overviews: safety management system, (SMS) training and proficiency, flight operations, operations in international and other specialised airspace, equipment requirements, company operations manual, emergency response plan, environmental management, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods and security.

Fly Alliance adds to its certifications the prestigious IS-BAO Stage I, with the aviation company recently receiving safety certifications with Wyvern Wingman, ARGUS Platinum and the full safety management programme (SMS).
