GrandView Transplant announced to provide organ transplant aviation transportation

February 9, 2023:

GrandView Aviation, a US leader with over 15 years' experience serving private charter clients and organ transport missions with a fleet of 17 Phenom 300 light jet aircraft based across the U.S, is combining its organ transplant operations with Transplant Transportation Services Inc. (TTSI) under the new entity GrandView Transplant.

In 2022, GrandView Aviation was acquired by Global Medical Response (GMR). Both TTSI and GrandView Transplant will now fall under the leadership of GrandView Aviation, as part of the Global Medical Response family.

While this exciting partnership is underway, GrandView Aviation has also announced that Brock Miller is taking the role of national director of transplant development. Miller will also help guide the efforts to establish GrandView Transplant. He will also have a key role in building relationships with organ procurement organisations and transplant centres across the U.S. while maintaining relationships with medical clientele. He will continue working with other services where needed to assist GrandView's mission.

With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Brock has a solid foundation in the medical industry. Prior to joining GrandView Aviation, he was employed by AirMed International as its regional director of strategy and partner relations. At AirMed, Brock was responsible for establishing, growing and managing relationships with many leading healthcare systems, transplant centres and organ procurement organisations across the US. Brock graduated with a degree in nursing in 2003 and has extensive background in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CV-ICU) and acted as a chief flight nurse for more than a decade.

“I'm pleased to continue working in this area with GrandView for a role in which we can deepen our relationships and provide lifesaving medical care for transplant patients,” Miller said. “I'm excited for the future of this organisation and assisting the team of healthcare professionals with the safe acquisition and transportation of organs from donors to patients who need them.”
