February 9, 2022:

Swiss operator Nomad Aviation has welcomed a Dassault Falcon 8X and a Gulfstream G550 to its fleet of managed aircraft. In addition to these two aircraft, Nomad Aviation has also added a Bombardier Global 5000 to its Swiss AOC, which will be ready for charter with immediate effect.

The Switzerland based and registered Bombardier Global 5000 has a non-stop range of 5,200 nautical miles (9,630 km) at a cruising speed up to Mach 0.89. On board, passengers will enjoy a spacious and state-of-the-art cabin experience and an exceptionally smooth and restful flight thanks to the aircraft’s advanced wing.

The cutting-edge 13 passenger, three-zone cabin is custom designed and fully equipped, meeting the various travel needs of different customers. Fully berthable seats that recline flat to create beds allow for maximum relaxation. The aircraft also features the latest satellite-based internet connectivity with Ka-band high-speed internet, with unlimited and uninterrupted streaming capabilities. The aircraft is staffed with multiple and highly experienced flight crews, making even the most complex worldwide itineraries possible.

Nomad Aviation’s diverse charter fleet now comprises seven aircraft: A Cessna CitationJet 2+, an Embraer Legacy 600, a Dassault Falcon 2000S, a Gulfstream G450, a Bombardier Global 5000 and 6000 and an Airbus ACJ319.

Thomas Köhli, CEO of Nomad Aviation said: “We are pleased to announce the continued growth of our fleet, especially in the long-range aircraft segment. The Global 5000 combines range, speed, comfort and style, and is one of the most appreciated large cabin series in the heavy executive jet market segment.”

“We are excited to provide our charter clients with now even more aircraft options than ever before. Demand has been very strong in recent months, and this addition to our commercial fleet enables us to continue to serve our most discerning clients with just the right product no matter what they need,” added Christoph Thurnherr, Nomad Aviation’s vice president aircraft management and sales.
