December 10, 2021:

Cutter Aviation, the US full service aviation company, is delighted to announce the promotion of Chadd Garvy to the role of chief pilot for Cutter Aviation's charter and flight management department based in Phoenix, Arizona. In his new role Chadd will be responsible for leading and training a team of pilots while growing Cutter Aviation's charter flight operations and aircraft management services for its domestic and international client base.

Chadd began his aviation career in Tampa, Florida where he completed his primary flight training. He progressed from private pilot to a certified flight instructor in 13 months with zero failed check rides. Shortly thereafter he moved to Phoenix in Arizona to begin a flight instruction career where he moved up the ranks and became a senior instructor and check airman in a school with more than 350 student within 18 months.

In February of 2019 Chadd joined the Cutter Aviation charter department and quickly became known as the Pilatus PC-12 expert. This expertise provided him with the opportunity to earn a Pilatus PC-24 type rating, and he now flies both the PC-24 and PC-12. With his dedication and keen sense of responsibility Chadd quickly became a key component of the charter department, which helped pave the way to his new role as chief pilot.

In his free time Chadd enjoys going camping in northern Arizona, biking through Phoenix and sharing aviation with friends.
