ACI Jet's flight operations department achieves IS-BAO Stage III certification

August 18, 2021:

ACI Jet, a world-class aviation company providing corporate aircraft management, charter, maintenance and ground handling services headquartered in San Luis Obispo County Airport in California, has received its International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage III certification from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). IS-BAO is the global industry standard for operators, and is designed to meet safety management system (SMS) requirements from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) according to IBAC.

Being a Stage III certified flight department means the SMS infrastructure has been established, all safety risks have been identified and effectively managed, and a positive safety culture has been maintained. This certification affirms the values and procedures that ACI Jet's flight operations departmentt has made its standard practice.

The flight operations team at ACI Jet manages a fleet of business jets and provides flight crew staffing, trip dispatching, charter services and aircraft maintenance for the entire fleet. The fifteen business jets range from Cessna Excel XLS to Bombardier Global Express types, an eighth Global having recently been added to the fleet, and are capable of flying virtually anywhere on planet earth.

“Safety is an integral part of everything we do at ACI Jet, and we are pleased to receive this certificate as validation of our commitment,” stated Kellee Valentine, ACI Jet's senior vice president of flight operations.
