LunaJets looks forward to strong summer 2021

May 11, 2021:

Last September LunaJets, the Geneva headquartered private jet charter solutions provider, had a bleak view on the state of the charter market According to its latest figures, however, it turned out to be too pessimistic.

"We concluded 2020 with the best performance in our 14-year history, mainly fuelled by an all-time high fourth quarter. Overall, the group experienced a record year with revenues up over 30%, thus ratifying our ability to gain market share and seize opportunities in these challenging times," noted Alain Leboursier, managing director.

Regarding its private jet charter segment, LunaJets experienced another record start for 2021; this activity is 20% above pre-Covid19 levels. It is by far its best start to a year and particularly unexpected considering the volatility in the market as both its regular business and private clients have dramatically reduced their travel activity.

LunaJets has had a record number of new clients and increased demand for longer trips and on larger aircraft. LunaJets' target is to reach the 1,000 new clients milestone this year fuelled by a global expansion strategy with new offices in Paris, London and Monaco, seamlessly aligned with continued investment in technology and marketing.

In April alone, the company's business activity has doubled compared to April 2019,. It generated over 600 flight movements including long haul flights in Asia, Africa and the Indian Ocean where clients struggling to find commercial solutions turned to LunaJets.

Clients are also benefiting from its agressive pricing due to its business volume with the world-wide leading jet operators.

"As we see our existing clients starting to fly again and new clients taking off, we are therefore expecting a very strong summer in 2021. We also forsee gains in market share as more clients grasp the importance of our market impartiality and independent advice when booking a private jet,” concluded Alain Leboursier, LunaJet's managing director.

The LunaJets value proposition and flexible offering appear to be the perfect answer to the current global travel crisis.
