Luxaviation Group adopts leading new FlySkills hygiene standards

January 18, 2021:

Luxaviation Group, one of the largest business aircraft and helicopter operators worldwide, is now implementing higher standards of safe travel than ever before by securing FlySkills Hygiene Certification (FHC) across the group's regional operators as well as its fixed-base operations (FBOs), managed by ExecuJet.

The FHC programme allows FBOs, aircraft owners and operators to demonstrate defined and accredited hygiene standards that have been implemented and are subject to regular compliance auditing.

Luxaviation Group's ExecuJet FBOs, now certified by the FHC programme, range from facilities in Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, Bali in Indonesia, Dubai in United Arab Emirates, Cape Town and Lanseria/Johannesburg in South Africa to facilities in Barcelona, Gerona, Ibiza and Valencia in Spain, Brussels in Belgium, Istanbul in Turkey and Zürich in Switzerland.

Alongside the FBOs, many of Luxaviation Group's private jet charter operators globally, from Australia to Germany and from the Middle East to France, Belgium and Luxembourg, are also now certified by the FlySkills Hygiene programme.

Robert Fisch, co-president, aviation services, Luxaviation Group, says: “As we hope and plan for private jet flight demand to surge again in 2021, we are doing everything we can to guarantee our clients the safest possible travel experience, in the air and across our FBOs.”

Only certified aircraft, operators and FBOs are listed in the FHC database, which is available to charter brokers and dispatch departments. The programme helps owners and charter customers minimise their risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.
