Jet Rescue repeats record breaking ECMO flight

Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, an air ambulance specialist operating in Mexico and Latin America, has repeated its world record civilian ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) flight by transporting a 58 year old male patient from Clinica Oca in Monterrey Mexico to the National Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea.

"The 58 year old patient developed acute respiratory and cardiac failure secondary to Covid-19," said Dr. Victor Cervantes, medical director of Jet Rescue. "This is the second time in three months that our medical team has performed this challenging transport."
