Sweet Aviation adds Pilatus PC-12 airplane to charter fleet

November 18, 2020:

Sweet Aviation, a Fort Wayne, Indiana based aviation company, has added a nine-passenger Pilatus PC-12 single-engine turboprop airplane to its already versatile and robust FAA-certified Part 135 charter fleet service. Sweet Aviation also offers flight training along with aircraft rental and maintenance at its Smith Field Airport (SMD) headquarters. It is owned by Chuck Surack, the president of Sweetwater, the number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear in the US.

The Pilatus PC-12, billed on the Pilatus website as “the most versatile and valued business aircraft in the world”, has the most modern avionics and safety features available and is roomy enough to fit nine adults comfortably. With configurable leather seating and workspace-friendly pullout tables, plus a long list of amenities like a customisable refreshment and entertainment centre, a pressurised cabin with dual climate control and a wireless entertainment server, the PC-12 is an ideal private-travel option for businesses and families alike.

Charter flights utilising Sweet Aviation's diverse fleet of aircraft are a safe and convenient alternative to driving or flying commercial for regional trips as well as for cross-country travel. Flying charter has a number of advantages, including decreased travel time and the ability to both personalise the travel schedule and avoid busy airport terminals and packed airliners.

“Travellers throughout the US midwest will benefit from the addition of the PC-12 to our charter fleet,” said Joel Pierce, general manager at Sweet Aviation. “Whether for business or leisure, we're thrilled to offer a safe, convenient and enjoyable way to travel.”
