Gestair gets green light to operate in London City Airport

From 15 January 2020 Gestair can boast about having got approval to operate, with its fleet's aircraft, at London City Airport, located in the centre of the British capital.

The company, which has spent more than two years working with the UK and Spanish authorities on aeronautic matters in order to obtain this permit, has had to show that it complies with conditions such as: having a steep approach supplement with a higher glideslope angle than that standard one for all approved aircraft, and carry out specific training for its crew.

Gestair now has approval for the following aircraft to be able to land at and take off from London City:

- Global 6000

- Falcon 2000 Classic, 2000S and 2000 LX EASy II

- Cessna Citation Sovereign, XLS+ and Latitude

- Hawker 400XP

- Piaggio Avanti II
