Exec 1 Aviation, Inc. receives IS-BAO Stage II certification
January 21, 2020:Exec 1 Aviation Inc., a regional leader in aircraft management and charter, announced today that it has obtained registration of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) as an IS-BAO StageII operator. This follows a very successful two year period in which Exec 1 Aviation operated as IS-BAO Stage I certification.
The parent of the IS-BAO effort is the International Business Aviation Council, which developed it as a code of best practices for the benefit of flight operations departments in the rapidly growing business sector. It serves as a benchmark of professionalism and standardisation for the conduct of flight operations departments and addresses such items as an operator’s safety management system (SMS ), while at the same time allowing an outside critique of strengths and weaknesses of the flight department operation procedures. The SMS includes a strategy and set of tools that enable an organisation to systematically manage every facet of its operation to identify safety and security hazards and associated risks to mitigate them. Safety is the core of the effort, but not the only aspect for review. Business practices, among others, are also examined. IS-BAO gives Exec 1 Aviation a known and true industry standard of safety which is accepted worldwide.
“The successful audit and registration of IS-BAO Stage II for Exec 1 Aviation further defines our commitment to safety, our customers and the business aviation community. All of our employees are committed to delivering the highest level of service. Completing IS-BAO Stage II validates our commitment to maintaining our safety culture,” said Exec 1 Aviation's president, JR Boesen.
He further notes "With IS-BAO, our highly experienced management team and dedicated cockpit crews can continue to provide exceptional services nationwide in today’s business aircraft charter environment."
