Lider Aviacao wins global award for operational safety

Lider Aviacao has celebrated another milestone in Brazilian business aviation after becoming the first company in Brazil to achieve the third and final stage of IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations) certification in aircraft chartering. The worldwide seal, awarded by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), the most important executive aviation certification body in the world, certifies the quality and safety of executive aviation companies as well as the standardisation of their operations.

And having this culture ingrained is of the utmost importance for the achievement of this seal," said Líder Aviação's director of supervisory maintenance, chartering and management of aircraft, Bruna Assumpção. "Obtaining the Stage 3 award shows that we are aligned with the best executive aviation practices worldwide."

In the aviation market, the issue of safety includes numerous factors and procedures, such as the constant realisation of adequate training and excellence in the activity of identification, analysis and mitigation of operational risks. Obtaining this certification indicates the excellence of the charter service and can be seen as a parameter when selecting an air taxi service.
