FAASA Group rebrands as Pegasus Aero Group
January 22, 2019:FAASA, the Spanish aviation services group, has restructured and rebranded as Pegasus Aero Group. The group reorganisation was born out of the need to unify and integrate under the same umbrella, different leading entities in the aeronautical sector, both in Europe and Latin America, being today benchmarks in the development of civil air emergency services, in the preservation of the environment, in the field of aeronautical training and aerial simulation.
It represents a necessary turning point in the history of the business and the companies that it comprises. In recent years, different companies have been acquired in Europe and Latin America with a consequent increase in markets, aircraft, employment and investments, allowing the creation of a consolidated international aeronautical group.
Its president, Miguel Ángel Tamarit Campuzano, stressed that "the momentum and development experienced by the group in recent years has led to a reorganisation, with the aim of gaining competitiveness, being more efficient and standardising processes. From this has developed a renewed brand that aspires to continue with the same business vocation and with the highest standards of safety and quality. Pegasus Aero Group is the result of what we have done over the years and this new image reflects our strategy of growth and diversification, developed in recent years and which places us as a reference in the markets in which we operate."
The Spanish multinational Pegasus Aero Group will now incorporate Pegasus Aviation, Pegasus OffShore, Pegasus South America, Elitellina, SEILAF and the Sebastián Almagro Foundation.
As for future projects, Tamarit Campuzano points out that "today our air operations are already developed in more than six countries, and this line will continue to be one of the clear actions of execution. For this, agreements have been signed with local reference operators in European and Latin American countries to keep flying high."
Pegasus Aero Group directly employs more than 600 professionals, manages up to 135 air bases, and has a modern fleet that exceeds a hundred aircraft. Its companies have accumulated a flight history of over 325,000 flight hours, and every year it trains more than 500 students in ab initio training and formative improvement actions. Pegasus Aero Group was born as a benchmark in aeronautics, capable of offering global solutions in the field of emergencies and works developed with aircraft, being at the forefront of technology.
