Textron Aviation delivers first Citations for Guernsey AOC operations in Channel Islands

May 29, 2018:

Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, today announced it has delivered a Cessna Citation M2 and a Cessna Citation CJ3+ to ORTAC (AOC) Ltd., the first business to operate Citation aircraft under a Guernsey Air Operators Certificate (AOC) in the Channel Islands.

The ORTAC operations team manages the aircraft on behalf of its clients, and will use the aircraft for international commercial charter.

“These deliveries are evidence of the increasing demand for general aviation in the Channel Islands,” said Tom Perry, regional vice president of European sales. “We are thrilled to have ORTAC join the Citation family, and we trust that the M2 and CJ3+, renowned for their reliability, efficiency and comfort, will be phenomenal assets to further strengthen the region's growing commercial charter market.”

Representatives from ORTAC accepted delivery of the aircraft earlier this month at Textron Aviation headquarters in Wichita, Kansas.

“On behalf of our clients, ORTAC is delighted to have taken delivery of two new Cessna aircraft, a Citation M2 and a Citation CJ3+,” said Tobi Mathews, ORTAC managing director. “The purchasing process has been seamless, and we have been exceptionally pleased with the sales and technical support that we have received from the excellent team at Textron Aviation, at every level.”
