Avanti EVO starts operation in AirGO charter fleet

The experienced and leading Piaggio Aerospace P180 Avanti operator in Europe, German operator AirGO Private Airline is pleased to introduce the first Avanti EVO in charter operation. AirGO has a strong presence in the UK, French and Mediterranean markets, with a focus on London, Paris and southern France. Additionally, AirGO operates between destinations all over Europe, North Africa and to the Middle East.

“The Avanti EVO is a very important addition to our charter fleet as it reflects perfectly AirGO's attention to economic and environmental sensitivity,” states Daniela Flierl, CEO of AirGO Private Airline. From the very beginning the Avanti was designed as an aircraft with outstanding cabin comfort, which is fast like a jet due to its streamlined design but at the same time fuel efficient like a turbo prop. The addition of new propeller design to the EVO meets all expectations for the prevention of noise pollution, distinguishing the Avanti EVO as one of the greenest business jets available today.

In mid-February, the new Avanti EVO made its maiden charter flight from London City Airport to Palma de Mallorca. The aircraft, with the peculiar call sign D-IPPY, is the sixth aircraft in AirGO's Avanti charter fleet and is only the first of many more EVO additions to its fleet.

For Avanti aircraft owners the operation in a mono fleet system with aircrafts scheduled all over Europe and around the Mediterranean is a huge advantage. This model ensures both a high quantity of charter sales as well as the aircraft availability for the owner due to the fleet's flexibility in swapping call signs for booked charters.
