Private Jets adds aircraft to San Antonio fleet

Private Jets Inc. today announced the Oklahoma private air charter company has expanded its fleet with the addition of four jets, including one to be based at San Antonio International Airport.

Private Jets has acquired the certificates for a 1986 Citation SII; a 2001 King Air 200; a 2007 Lear 40XR; and a 2006 Lear 45XR.

The Citation SII will be based at San Antonio International Airport. This will be the second aircraft in Private Jets' fleet to be located in San Antonio.

“This significant growth in our fleet represents an opportunity to increase selection and service for our customers,” said Eric Wells, president and director of operations for Private Jets. “The South Texas market is particularly important to us, so we are pleased to grow the San Antonio portion of our fleet.”

The Citation SII is the sixth Citation variation in the Private Jets fleet. The SII seats up to eight passengers and features a range of 2,300 miles, making it suitable for travel to destinations across the United States.

The King Air 200, the Lear 40XR and the Lear 45XR will be stationed at Private Jets' headquarters, Wiley Post Airport, which is located just outside of Oklahoma City.

The King Air 200 is a turbo-prop aircraft that seats up to seven passengers and offers a range of approximately 2,200 miles.

The Lear 40XR seats up to seven passengers and also features a range of about 2,200 miles. This is the second Lear 40XR in the Private Jets fleet; both jets are based at Wiley Post Airport.

The Lear 45XR seats eight with a range of more than 2,300 miles. It is one of the larger aircraft in the Private Jets fleet.

These additions bring the overall Private Jets fleet to 19 aircraft.

The Private Jets fleet boasts a variety of aircraft, ranging for smaller turboprops suitable for regional travel to large jets with seating for up to nine passengers and international capabilities.
