Premium Jet becomes first operator in Switzerland to earn ARGUS Platinum rating

October 2, 2017:

ARGUS International, Inc. is pleased to announce Premium Jet as the first Swiss operator to achieve the prestigious ARGUS Platinum rating. The Platinum rating is the highest level of the ARGUS ratings and is awarded only to air charter operators who have demonstrated successful implementation of industry best safety practices relative to their operations and maintenance.

“The ARGUS Platinum rating means for us that beyond the already stringent standards of the aviation administration we also satisfy an independent, freely chosen and international quality and safety standard,” said Frank Wobith, safety and compliance manager of Premium Jet AG.

To attain an ARGUS Platinum rating operators must satisfy the following requirements: pass the ARGUS Platinum onsite safety audit, demonstrate a well-developed safety management system and emergency response plan as well as exhibit detailed maintenance and operational records—within a 24-month period.

“We are pleased to announce Premium Jet as our first Swiss Platinum Rated Operator,” said Joe Moeggenberg, president and CEO of ARGUS International, Inc. “Our audit is a thorough and in-depth examination of an operator's policies and procedures compared against a constantly evolving set of industry best practices. Again, we congratulate Premium Jet and welcome them to an elite group of operators who have achieved the ARGUS Platinum rating.”

“For our customers, the ARGUS Platinum rating is an additional and apparent safety and quality attribute,” said Marcel Wepfer, managing director of Premium Jet AG. “We are proud to be a part of this outstanding hallmark of quality.”
