Nomad Aviation appoints Thomas Koehli as new CEO

September 15, 2017:

Nomad Aviation has appointed Thomas Koehli as the company's chief executive officer as of October 01, 2017. Koehli will lead the management team and will be in charge of the Nomad Aviation group. He succeeds his father Heinz Koehli who will concentrate more on the company expansion and his strategic role as executive chairman. In addition to his new assignment Thomas keeps his role in leading the charter sales and ground operations departments.

Thomas Koehli has more than 19 years of aviation experience. He joined Nomad Aviation in September 2016 as senior VP sales and ground operations. Prior to that, Thomas Koehli spent 18 years with a reputed ground handling company at Zurich International airport, last as vice president and member of the executive management, where he was leading the company's airline and cargo handling division. He started his professional career in the travel business as a travel consultant. Thomas Koehli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business leadership and organization.
