IJM MENA celebrates first anniversary

IJM MENA celebrated its first anniversary earlier this year at its headquarters in Bahrain. The company, a joint venture between International Jet Management (IJM) from Austria and MENA Aerospace from Bahrain, is specialised in aircraft management and private jet charter.

IJM MENA is based at the private jet hangar complex of MENA Aerospace at Bahrain International Airport, and holds an aircraft operating certificate issued by the Kingdom of Bahrain's Civil Aviation Affairs. International Jet Management was founded in 2003 and has over 100 employees at its headquarters in Vienna and offices in central Europe and the Far East with currently more than 25 aircraft under its management.

IJM MENA successfully offers the aircraft management and charter expertise of IJM combined with the local infrastructure, contacts and knowledge of MENA to aircraft owners based within the GCC. We saw a lot of demand for our combined services from the beginning of our partnership onwards and we very happy that we could welcome new aircraft owners in the first year of the partnership already, said Felix Feller, chairman of the board IJM MENA and founder and CEO of International Jet Management.

IJM MENA offers aircraft management services and promotes, sells and coordinates private jet charter flights. At the moment, the company takes care of three aircraft based at Bahrain International Airport. Two heavy jets, one Embraer Legacy 600 and one Bombardier Challenger 604 are available for charter flights. Both aircraft are registered commercially in the Kingdom of Bahrain. For private jet charter flights, the company collaborated closely with AC Aviation Charter.

MENA Aerospace Enterprises WLL is the holding company and administrative head for the corporate group consisting of MAE Aircraft Management WLL, which holds a Bahraini Aircraft Operating Certificate and operates business jets and airliners; MAE Jet Charters Company WLL, which sells and coordinates V-VIP and corporate travel on chartered business jets; MENA Private Aviation Services Co, which provides comprehensive private aviation service from its headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and SA MENA Avionics WLL, an EASA Part 145 & 147, FAA, PCA/GACA and BCAA approved MRO, which specialises in the installation, maintenance and repair of avionic and electronic systems on board aircraft. The company developed a private aviation complex at Bahrain International Airport. MENA Aerospace has been established in Bahrain since 2004.

International Jet Management GmbH was founded in 2003 and combines safety, flexibility, comfort and discretion in one organization. With its friendly and personal atmosphere IJM is seen by business partners as well as employees a trustworthy, dependable partner.

With this wide range of different aircraft types, IJM's team has wide ranging experience and expertise with many aircraft types.
