Embraer delivers fifth Legacy 600 business jet to FirstJet

November 14, 2016:

Embraer announced today the delivery of a Legacy 600 PreFlown super midsize business jet to FirstJet, a premium air taxi company based in Toluca, Mexico. The delivery occurred during the 2016 National Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), in Orlando, Florida.

“The addition of the fifth Legacy 600 to our fleet is a reflection of our optimism in the market and enables us to keep offering our clients the most suited airplanes for their unique missions,” said José Mezher, CEO of FirstJet.

The Embraer Executive Jets design team worked with FirstJet to specify the interior and exterior of their aircraft, which also received the 96-month inspection along with wi-fi installation, before delivery. All the technical aspects were also managed by Embraer’s PreFlown team over a four month period to ensure the aircraft met FirstJet’s expectations.

“FirstJet’s selection and customization of a Legacy 600 to continue to build its fleet is a testament to its commitment to deliver a superior flight experience,” said Breno Correa, vice president, PreFlown Aircraft, Embraer Executive Jets. “FirstJet’s factory-direct acquisition of this Embraer PreFlown aircraft ensures that its customers will also benefit from the highest level of reliability for which the Legacy 600 is renowned.”
