FlairJet receives additional Embraer Phenom 300 into managed and charter fleet
November 1, 2016:FlairJet Ltd., the UK-based aircraft management and charter company now owned by Flexjet Ltd., is pleased to welcome an additional Embraer Phenom 300 aircraft to its managed fleet.
This new jet (G-HNPN), which is available for charter and is based at Leeds Bradford Airport, reflects a growing trend among private travellers in the UK, who increasingly favour jets over turboprop aircraft. In the seven years since it was established in 2009, FlairJet has onboarded 13 Embraer Phenoms into its fleet and has pioneered commercial operations with both the Phenom 300 and 100 in Europe. Today's addition is the first aircraft to join the managed fleet, just 90 days after the acquisition by Flexjet.
Kenn Ricci, Flexjet's chairman, “Forward-looking fleet plans, custom program options and artisan cabin interiors are just a few of the innovative concepts we plan to bring to the UK market in the years to come.”
The Phenom 300, one of the most highly regarded private aircraft in the world, compliments FlairJet's fleet of AOC and Part-NCC operated aircraft.
Confidence in Embraer products is shared by Flexjet and it's sister companies. The management team has taken delivery of more than 40 Phenom 300s in its 21-year history.
Ray Jones, CEO of Flexjet, commented, “This newest addition to our managed fleet is emblematic of our commitment to immediate and continued growth following the acquisition.”
In describing why the Phenom 300 aircraft owner chose FlairJet, he noted FlairJet's exemplary reputation and experience on the aircraft type as key factors in awarding the contract. In addition, the Phenom 300 owner said his decision was validated by the efficient and professional management of the introduction of the aircraft to their CAA AOC.
Jones, who has been quietly ramping up UK operations, further commented, “This particular aircraft is an exceptional example of the type, and we are privileged to have been selected to manage it. We are one of the most experienced operators of Phenom aircraft in Europe, and this very popular aircraft will continue to enhance our ability to provide unmatched service with impeccable style to our clients.”
FlairJet is planning a further expansion of its fleet, and will continue to provide bespoke aircraft management solutions as well as aircraft acquisition, acceptance and delivery capabilities.
