Private Jets expands Oklahoma-based fleet

September 7, 2016:

Oklahoma air charter company Private Jets Inc. today announced the acquisition of an additional jet for its fleet, and the re-assignment of a jet from Florida to the Sooner State.

Private Jets has added a 2007 Lear 40XR to its Oklahoma fleet, which is based out of Wiley Post Airport.

The Lear 40XR can seat up to seven passengers with a range of nearly 2,200 miles, making it suitable for non-stop travel to either coast. The jet features an airshow system and cabin speakers, as well as a full refreshment center.

In addition, Private Jets is transferring a jet from its base in Naples, Florida, to Wiley Post.

The 2008 Challenger 300 provides local travelers with international flight options thanks to its range of more than 3,400 miles. The Challenger 300 seats up to nine passengers and features six executive swivel and reclining leather seats, a three-seat couch, and input jacks for video game consoles, among other features.

The jet arrived at Wiley Post on Sept. 3 and is available for immediate bookings.

“We always look for ways to provide service to a wide range of customers,” said Eric Wells, president and director of operations for Private Jets. “With their capabilities, these two jets are exciting additions to our lineup at Wiley Post and give travelers a variety of options.”

Private Jets now boasts more than a dozen jets available for business, leisure and emergency travel. In addition to bases in Oklahoma and Florida, the company features hubs in San Antonio and Sugar Land, Texas.

The company offers direct bookings, its Thunder Wings Jet Card membership service, and empty-leg flights. The latter offers discounted rates on flights for passengers with flexible travel schedules.
