Unijet closes UK sales office

August 4, 2016:

After a period of 42 years; Unijet is closing its UK sales office on August 31st.  With the sale of Unijet to the Luxaviation Group and the recent acquisitions of UK based LEA and ExecuJet there was no longer a need for a dedicated office.

The UK sales office was established in 1974 to enhance charter sales on the then new Falcon 10 and 20 business jets which Unijet and its UK agent Falcon Jet Centre (FJC) were selling and chartering. As the years rolled by the successful collaboration lead to other aircraft types joining the fleet including the Falcon 50 and 900 jets. In recent years Hawker 800XP and Cessna Citation CJ3s were added. Free positioning to Paris and London were offered between the companies which benefited clients tremendously, effectively offering a wider spread of aircraft types.

Former UK sales director Andrew commented "I have been associated with Unijet since joining FJC back in 1985; since the company closed down in 2004 I havw taken up the role of running the UK office for the last twelve years. It’s a very sad time; but I feel proud to have worked for the company and wish my colleagues in Paris all the very best for the future under their new name Luxaviation France."
