One of JetMagic's two BBJs will be the first aircraft to be placed on its Aruban AOC.

JetMagic applies for DCA of Aruba air operator certification

May 20, 2016:

Maltese operator JetMagic (AOC MT-22) has applied for an Aruba AUA-OPS 1 AOC and established a company named JetMagic Aruba with headquarters on the Island. Aruba's AOC will enable JetMagic to operate its VVIP Boeing aircraft to perform worldwide commercial air operations, having Aruba as its principle place of business.

The project has been approved by the Aruba DCA, and the certificate should be issued in early June 2016. JetMagic is managing large VIP aircraft with a current fleet of four Boeings, including two BBJs, one B757-200 and one B777. The first aircraft to be bridged on the Aruba AOC is P4-BBJ, probably one of the most beautiful BBJ on the market.

With an extended range of 5,500 nm, P4-BBJ's stylish wide cabin can accommodate 18 passengers in comfort and luxury, featuring a forward bedroom, two lounge areas, two bathrooms with showers and an office. On board this unique airplane, customers will enjoy JetMagic's signature inflight service 'à la française'.

The DCA of Aruba is delighted to be presenting JetMagic with its AOC certification once all the necessary steps are in place. Mr. Edwin Kelly director of the DCA of Aruba stated; "We have ample experience with JetMagic as an operator in the non commercial category; they are considered a very professional and compliant operator. We look forward to completing their air operator certification in a short period of time and maintaining our successful relationship."
