GainJet extends range with newly acquired Challenger 605

May 4, 2016:

VIP charter operator, GainJet Aviation S.A, has added a new long range executive jet to its expanding fleet, adding a third Bombardier Challenger aircraft, this time a CL605. The aircraft, registration SX-SHC, was delivered on 15 April 2016, and is available for charter based between Amman, Jordan and Athens, Greece.

The CL605's eight hour (4,000 nm) flight range provides passengers the ability to easily connect between continents. And with one of the widest cabins in its category, the aircraft can host 12 passengers in absolute luxury. The cabin features four individual VIP seats, a club-four dining seating area, and a plush four-seater sofa.

GainJet president, Captain Ramsey Shaban, states “we're proud of this new addition to our fleet and have no doubt it will be popular amongst of our clientele. The comfort, size, and range it offers combined with its onboard features make this an easily sellable aircraft. We're basing the aircraft between Athens and Amman, because we feel there is demand for such an aircraft, which is operated by a European carrier that provides top of the line services.”

SX-SHC joins a diverse fleet at GainJet. The company's fleet features several executive jets available for charter including Gulfstream G650, G550, G450, Embraer Legacy 600, and Bombardier Challenger 604s, plus several executive airliners, including a VIP Boeing 757-200 with 62 VIP seats and a stateroom and a VIP Boeing 737-400 with 64 VIP seats. Shaban explains, “the acquisition of our new CL605 compliments our growing fleet. Where our CL604 aircraft are primarily dedicated to our ever-growing medevac operation, the CL605 will fill a void that once existed in the GainJet fleet; supplying customers looking for a super mid-size long range VIP aircraft. We're glad to welcome it to the team.”
