International air ambulance Hawker now available from Jet Logistics
February 11, 2016:Air medical specialist and FAA air carrier Jet Logistics announced the company has expanded its client support with the addition of a newly configured air ambulance Hawker 800A available for domestic and international missions.
This aircraft features a new Spectrum 2800-series patient module, loading system, large cabin with seating for five pax including med team, and a rear-enclosed lavatory. The Hawker is also capable of international air medical operations due to Jet Logistics' worldwide op-specs capabilities, thus expanding the mission capabilities for Jet Logistics contract clients to render missions throughout the US, Europe, Canada, Central, South America and the Caribbean as well.
“This asset has been deployed because as we continue to grow, we are implementing new measures to further expand support of our Air Medical and GovOps clients, so they have another option,” stated W. Ashley Smith, Jr., president. “Each of our contract clients have unique aircraft platforms and business models; however, Jet Logistics made this investment because they all benefit from the opportunity to place their own medical personnel onboard this asset for new options in servicing their existing customers, or targeting additional business including international missions.”
The Hawker 800 joins a diverse fleet of fixed wing air medical aircraft specially-configured for CCT, donor organ and special mission operations that Jet Logistics operates for a variety of commercial and government fixed contract clients from strategic CONUS (continental United States) and international base locations. Interested medical providers may also inquire about on-demand use of this aircraft: either utilizing their own medical team, or a BLS/ALS/CCT medical team (including optional CAMTS accreditation) provided thru Jet Logistics and its air medical consortium partners.
