Starbase Jet introduces first Citation X+ for charter in world

Starbase Jet, a leading private jet services provider, announced today that it has added a brand new Citation X+ to its large and diverse fleet of charter aircraft. The aircraft is based in New Orleans, Louisiana.

As the fastest civilian jet in the world, the Citation X+ will change the way you do business. No other business jet can match the combination of range and speed offered by the Citation X+. Cruising at incredible speeds of up to Mach 0.90 (685mph) and climbing up to 51,000 feet, the X+ can go New York to Los Angeles in as little as 4 ½ hours and reach St. Kitts from Houston in 4 hours. The award-winning design of the Citation X+ exterior includes dramatically swept wings, a low-drag airframe, winglets, and powerful Rolls Royce engines. With a smarter, more spacious and stylish cabin; shorter travel times; and more in-flight enjoyment, the Citation X+ showcases the latest in advanced avionics systems and cabin entertainment.

Cabin Technology and Amenities
A new, larger interior provides individual leather seating for 8 passengers with exceptional legroom, ambient lighting, and an intercontinental galley fully provisioned with fine china and multiple storage compartments. The X+ also features Clarity, an intelligent touchscreen cabin management and technology system which allows passengers to control elements such as lighting, window shades and cabin temperature at the touch of a button. It also allows data and media sharing and connectivity with other passengers in-flight. This fully integrated cabin management system puts all the convenience controls at your fingertips. The aircraft features a fully enclosed lavatory with flushing toilet and vanity with both hot and cold water. The combined baggage capacity is second to none with the ability to carry as many as 8 sets of golf clubs and overhead carry-ons.

Advanced Flight Deck
The Citation X+ features an advanced flight deck powered by the Garmin G5000 avionics suite. With touch-screen controllers, the flight crew can customize data presentation, see dimensional renderings of terrain, read precise weather patterns and see traffic coming from miles away. The flight displays are made up of three multi-pane widescreens enhanced with Garmin's Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT). Four intuitive, full color, touch-screen LCD control panels serve as the crew's primary user interface, replacing old-fashioned knobs, buttons and switches. Garmin's SVT offers a virtual reality view of terrain such as water and land surfaces, obstacles, traffic and runways which enhances pilot's situational awareness and improves overall safety of flight.
